Applying Color Tutorial for Metasequoia 3D le
This is a beginning 3D tutorial for learning how to apply color to 3D object.

Start by selecting the 3D shape from the primitive panel popup. After the object is inserted the material panel will show on the lower right corner. Click on NEW to get selection saying MAT 1. Then click on PROP to open the color selection popup. Select color.and click OK on popup window. Next, click MAT button in Command section on left middle of tool bar to get the cursor with a round shape attached.
To apply color click on the faces of the object and color will show up. In the VIEW section, on the lower left of panel, make sure to have one of these buttons selected, MQR, D3D, or GL so you can see the color. Also, on the top border of the work area look for Perspective buttons-pt(point),ln(line), fc(face). To see the object fc needs to be selected. Practice applying color to different shapes so you will learn the sequence and the buttons to enable.

Best viewed with IE and Opera browsers. Netscape won't be able to use back and next buttons.
