Pencilcolor Studio
"Pencilcolor" is used instead of colored pencil to describe my art.
I coined the word "pencilcolor" for my drawing medium on the same basis that "watercolor" is used for a painting medium. Also, I like the sound of the word pencilcolor.
I do pencilcolors on canvasboard or paper. I can get brilliant colors and transparency with my technique. I use a wide range of brands of colored pencils.
After I complete the work I spray on a sealer of matte fixative or liquid plastic. I have been doing pencilcolors since 1992 and using canvasboard since 1995.
The ease of use and the transparency factor are the reasons I use colored pencils.
